Two plans created for inclusion on new information panels sited above the remains of the Saxon Town Wall at Oxford Castle. Top: conjectural plan of Saxon Oxford. Bottom: plan showing location of Saxon Town Wall on the medieval Oxford Castle site. The plans are simplified versions of excavation and report drawings created by Oxford Archaeology. Two original reconstruction illustrations depicting the Saxon Wall and nearby buildings were also created, and can be seen on the 'Reconstruction Illustrations' page of this site. Adobe Illustrator vector drawings, 2013.

Plan of the excavated and visible remains of the deserted medieval village of Billesley Trussell, near Stratford upon Avon. The plan shows earthworks of the village and ridge & furrow ploughing, stone scatter remains of medieval dwellings & enclosures and modern structures. Adobe Illustrator drawing, 2011.

This plan will be included on an information panel at the site, alongside a reconstruction I created of the village before its decline. You can see the reconstruction on the 'Reconstruction Drawings' page of this website.
