Plan of the excavated and visible remains of the deserted medieval village of Billesley Trussell, near Stratford upon Avon. The plan shows earthworks of the village and ridge & furrow ploughing, stone scatter remains of medieval dwellings & enclosures and modern structures. Adobe Illustrator drawing, 2011.

This plan will be included on an information panel at the site, alongside a reconstruction I created of the village before its decline. You can see the reconstruction on the 'Reconstruction Drawings' page of this website.

Drawing incorporating the plan of the earthen barrow and timber & stone mortuary chamber of Wayland's Smithy 1, along with all the section drawings in their correct positions. Adobe Illustrator drawing, based on plans & section drawings from Prof. Atkinson's excavation, published 1965.

I created this drawing to help me visualise the form of the monument before I started working on the six reconstructions of Wayland's Smithy 1 - you can see those illustrations on the 'Reconstruction Drawings' page of this site.
